I had Paul Covine and Greg Oravets of Manahawkin, NJ on a bang-em up bass trip (picture attached) - the team had their seven fish limit (bonus tag used) with 2 hours to spare in the trip - we continued to play catch-n-release. Jigging AVA's and the deadly S&S Sandeel Flutter-jig, along with live-lining spot accounted for most of the striped ones. Greg's 20lb bass was caught on an AVA retrieved on the surface, while Paul got top honors with a beautiful 22lb bass that fell for the S&S Smiling Bill with pork worked "Montauk style". Paul had never caught a keeper Striped Bass before - well he was officially "christened" with a bass in the teens and a twenty pounder. Great job by all!! The bass are HERE and the bite is ON.
