An Evening of Fluke

A great evening in the bay last night - the winds died down and went light out of the west.  Drifted multiple areas until we found a nice body of fish - worked it through dusk.  The last one hit at 8:20pm and was 21in fish.  Ended the evening with 4 keepers (23.5, 21, 18in, 17.5in) - the biomass of mantis shrimp this year must be astounding.  Every fluke had a belly full of mantis shrimp and we had both live and dead ones all over the deck.  Bucktails and gulp were the ticket.  Dad has "booked" me for Sunday, so this weekend is filled.  I have multiple midweek afternoon trips (4-5 hours) available next week dependent on the weather - so call if interested and have one trip available for this upcoming weekend.

Also school is officially out 6/20, and I will be sailing up to 7 days a week starting this Friday until September.
