I was unable to fish the beginning part of the week due to personal obligations, but ran a few charters towards the end of the week. The fluke are definitely staging in the inlet area with mostly shorts 14-17" being caught - there are keepers mixed but you have to work very hard to get to them with so many small fluke in the area.
First up was the Ead family - Andrew (Dad), Christine (Mom), and their 10yr old son Jaeden for a bay and inlet trip. We started off working some birds for cocktail blues in which the family boxed 15, with 10yr old Jaeden hooking up with alot of these fish. The 2nd half of the trip was to target fluke, in which the trio caught over 50 shorts with the closest fish being around 16.5inches. The family learned quick and did a great job.
