Late April - Early May Report

It's definitely time!!  The water has warmed to the mid 50's in the bay, with warmer temps near the powerplant.  There has been a bite on schoolie bass just about everywhere, in fact prior to our soaking this past week, we had a couple of nights with numbers of bass totaling double digits, all bass around 21".  Most bass fell for Cape May style float rigs tipped with sandworms, or bucktails tipped with twister tails worked very slow.

I will be wrapping up the last of my seminars for the spring: May 9th 6-8pm @ Creekside Outfitters, May 20th 7-8pm@Shooter's Sporting Center, and June 13th 7:30-8:30pm@Village Harbor Fishing Club.  The seminars will focus on tactics for targeting fluke in the bays and oceans.  All seminars are free.

The big stripers are on their way and with the weather forecasted for next week - it should start to break open at anytime.  Live-lining, throwing plugs, and trolling spoons will be the way to go once the big ones arrive.  I do have some Striper dates open, and have already started booking Fluke trips through June, so if your interested give me a ring or book through the website (www.reelreactioncharters.com).  Again, all bait, tackle, and gear provided on all chartered trips.
