Memorial Day Weekend Fluke - Slow bite

I had Patrick Scholes and his 6-yr old son Henry from Westchester, NY on a 4-hr bay fluke charter.  We did have the start of the outgoing tide, but stiff south-east winds made for several wind against tide scenarios.  Henry was first to strike with a few throwbacks, but we found ourselves contending with a lot of snot grass.  After a few moves, we finally found an area that showed signs of life, clean water, and higher water temps.  Although the conditions were far less than optimal, Patrick connected on a nice 4-lb fluke that measured 22 inches on a S&S Big Eye tipped with Gulp bait.  Nice job by the father and son team.
