I had Stan Balewitz of Edison, Hector Caraballo of Edison, and Michael Siessel of Bordentown, NJ out on a bay fluke charter. We worked spot after spot looking fluke and trying to find good water with the trio jigging bucktails the entire trip. Stan Balewitz picked up a solid 23" fluke weighing close to 5lbs, but unfortunately that was the only keeper fluke among over 30 short fluke, a lone bluefish, and a few sea robins. The rain may have played a factor in the bite being slightly off and it seems that the fluke are spread out. Overall, nice job by the guys.
