Late September update

I did get a few confirmed False Albacore (non-edible) and Atlantic Bonito (edible) being caught anywhere just off the beach to a few miles offshore.  These fish move very fast, and can be targeted by fly, artificials, and trolling, but usually this time of year its a run and chase fishery.  There are some schoolie Striped Bass off the inlet during the right tides.

Unfortunately, this weekend the weather wasn't with us.  On Saturday, the trip was cancelled due to severe fog which didn't lift until close to 1130am.  Sunday's winds were predicted to kick up by 730am, so the trip was postponed/rebooked for a November Striped Bass trip.

Based on the current NOAA weather predictions, this week is pretty much a "NO-GO" based on sea conditions due to the Northeast Winds and will unfortunately close out the Fluke season (closed after 9/26/2015).

Once this passes, we will be running on weekends either ocean targeting bluefish, bonito, albacore or bay for blowfish, schoolie striped bass, bluefish, and anything else that bites a hook.  Mid-October through December should be prime time for Striped Bass, and I already have quite a few weekends booked up.  So if interested, book through the site or give me a call.
