A tad better bite today - In the morning, I had return client Matt Bailey, his son Jay, daughter Maddie, and her friend Julia on Julia Morell on a 4hr bay/inlet trip. We targeted Fluke for the duration of the trip and worked a variety of areas moving with the tide. The wind did present some problems, but the foursome was able to catch close to 25 Fluke with 2 solid keepers at 22 and 19 inches. Great job - I wish the keeper bite was a little better!
The afternoon trip fared better as I had new client Bryan Polsonetti and his two buddies Michael Peltine and Kevin Velle from Connecticut on a 4hr bay/inlet charter. We had less than optimal tide conditions, but the trio managed to catch close to 20 Fluke with 4 nice keepers (26, 25, 21, 18.75), including a 5 and 6 pound fish. Awesome job in rather challenging conditions.
All fish were caught on the S&S Bigeye bucktails with live bait.
